When Middlesbrough must sign players by to play against Blackburn Rovers this weekend
Middlesbrough are in the market for new faces on transfer deadline day - but will face a race against the clock to ensure any new recruits can play against Blackburn Rovers.
Jonathan Woodgate’s side will face Rovers at the Riverside tomorrow, and will hope to have at least one new face in their ranks.But while the EFL transfer deadline is at 11pm this evening, any new signings will have to be registered long before that to play this Saturday.EFL rules state that “all paperwork relating to a transfer must be submitted to and approved by the governing body by 12 noon on the day prior to the date of such match”.
