The 24-year-old has played every minute of every league game this season and become a key member of Warnock’s side in recent months.
Dijksteel joined Boro from Charlton in the summer of 2019 but suffered a lengthy knee injury last November.

Hide AdSince then the Dutchman has gone from strength to strength under Warnock, impressing as a right-sided centre-back and as a full-back.
"I'm absolutely delighted," Warnock told the club’s website. "He really deserves it.
"He's worked ever so hard since I came here, and I've been really pleased with the improvement he's shown in his overall game.
"He's a great signing for Middlesbrough for the next few years."
Dijksteel’s new deal will run until the summer of 2024.
