The midfielder arrived on loan from Blackburn Rovers on an initial 28 day deal due to the National League season being up in the air.
But now with Pools’ season set to continue, an extended deal appears to be a formality with the 23-year-old set to remain at Victoria Park at least until the end of the season.

“I don’t envisage any issues and from his perspective he’s back home playing football so we look to extend that and it gives us more competition with Feaths [Nicky Featherstone] not too far away and he brings more really good quality to the midfield area.”
Since his arrival, White has made his intentions clear about staying longer than his initial one month spell while also being open to moving permanently to Pools with his deal at Blackburn set to expire this summer.
The midfielder has made three starts for Pools so far but was taken off early in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Yeovil Town after picking up a knock in the first half.

“He grew into the game at Eastleigh so we wanted to keep him out there but it was evident after the goal that he was struggling so hopefully it’s just an impact injury and he’ll be be okay for Tuesday at Wrexham.”
