Officers have confirmed that a missing Billingham woman has been found safe and well.

Earlier today (Monday, July 27) Cleveland Police launched an appeal to trace 34-year-old Samantha Tranter.

They were concerned for her welfare after she was last seen in the Sidlaw Road area on Sunday, July 26.

But police have now confirmed that Samantha has been located safe and well.

A spokesperson said: “34-year-old Samantha Tranter, who was reported missing, has been located safe and well.”
