Hartlepool carers recognised for long service
Forty care workers were honoured at two awards ceremonies held at Portals Place restaurant, Hartlepool Marina, on Wednesday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 10.
Carewatch, a family managed franchise of the national provider of home care, held the events to celebrate members of its Hartlepool care team, who collectively have worked for the company for 250 years.

Hide AdEach of the 40 devoted staff recently celebrated a milestone anniversary in their employment at Carewatch, ranging from five to 15 plus years.
They include care manager Michelle Banks and care coordinator Joanne Clark, who have worked for Carewatch Hartlepool since it opened in 2000.
Michelle said: “Our carers love their jobs because they are serving their local community and making a difference to service users’ lives each day.
“Care is a very rewarding industry and I am so grateful to work with such a wonderful team, after almost 18 years together it feels like family.”

Hide AdAt the ceremony Carewatch presented each of the carers with long service certificates, along with a thank you letter from management and a pin badge to reward their commitment and hard work.
The company also aid on a buffet for everyone at the event, who enjoyed an evening of socialising and sharing achievements with each other.
