Ingenious Hartlepool hay bale pig brings big smile to NHS worker
Angela Lawlor, who works as an NHS occupational therapist, was out on her daily permitted run in Hartlepool when she spotted this amazing tribute to the health heroes.
She described it as something which ‘made me smile and proud to be an NHS worker’.

Angela works in a community mental team for older people, based in Stockton.
She added: “Although I am not one of the amazing people trying to save lives in the acute hospitals, we are trying to ensure our patients in the community stay safe, avoid unnecessary admissions to the mental health inpatient units, ensure our patients and their carers are well supported and continue to receive the care their need.
“For people with dementia, familiarity and routine is vital. Some forget they are not suppose to be going out, forget family and friends are not able to visit, forget the shops they go to daily are closed.

“There is also an increase in loneliness and isolation resulting in low mood, depression. For everyone in my team, we are facing new challenges everyday.”
Are you the kind-hearted person who made this superb tribute to the NHS key workers? We would love to hear from you.
